At the heart of Salt and Scent is me, Rachel. I’ve always found joy in any excuse for a celebration, and with a passion for hospitality I was led into the incredible world of luxury weddings and events.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of planning and managing weddings for wonderfully discerning clients at some of The Cotswolds’ most prestigious venues and private homes.
My passion lies in truly getting to know my clients and designing a celebration that feels entirely reflective of them — their style, story, and what lights them up.
Based in on the edge of The Cotswolds we have an incredible network of tried and tested suppliers in the region to build your 'event dream team'. Predominantly working in The Cotswolds, we are also very happy to plan and produce weddings and parties across the South West and London…wherever your vision takes us.

I’m a country girl at heart, living on our farm in South Gloucestershire where we built our home from the ground up. Life here is a wonderful mix of children, dogs, a pony, and lots of cows!
Somehow the chaos only fuels my creativity. The countryside, my love of interiors and fashion, and the pleasure of a beautifully scented home all shape the weddings and events I create.
When I’m not planning weddings, I’m usually dreaming up my next escape. Skiing, a city break, a beach holiday — I adore them all.
I’m drawn to true quality, not lavishness, but thoughtful refinement. The most memorable details should feel effortless and deeply personal, bringing a sense of quiet luxury that your guests can feel the moment they arrive. I believe the atmosphere you create is what stays in memories long after the celebration is over.
